It’s Christmas Eve, but Sam is on the naughty step again. What naughty thing has he done this time?

He is joined by his old friend Captain Buckleboots the pirate, and then by Father Christmas, who surely needs to be somewhere else! All Father Christmas wants is to be forgiven, but he doesn’t know how. The message here is clear, and delivered in an entertaining way. Toddlers will enjoy looking for the clues in the illustrations to find out why Sam has been sent to the naughty step, and there are more little jokes to spot, too. A useful book for two- and three-year-olds who don’t want to spend their Christmas on the naughty step.
