How does anyone overcome the death of a child?

Web designer Mark Fife has a new home, a new fiancée and is hoping to rebuild his life following the loss of his son and his marriage. But he struggles to embrace the future and a visit from a stranger forces him to face his grief and his past when he is told the ghost of his son has been seen at his old home. Sensitively written, You Came Back is more a study of how grief affects all relationships rather than a paranormal tale, and Mark's guilt and torn emotions over his ex-wife is realistically portrayed. An impressive first novel which is deeply thought provoking and tender.
